I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the Taghazout Surf Expo as a photographer and filmmaker, capturing some truly unforgettable moments throughout the event. The Expo, designed as a professional trade show, plays a vital role in contributing to the economic development of the region, while also remaining a public event that brings together locals and visitors through sports, culture, and the surf way of life.

Situated right in front of the legendary Anchor Point surf break, known around the world by surfers, the exhibition village was a stunning 4000 m² space built with environmental sustainability in mind. Over the four-day event, it attracted an impressive 40,000 visitors who had the chance to explore booths from 80 exhibitors, including surf schools, camps, specialized travel agencies, surfwear brands, and equipment suppliers. The Expo also welcomed a variety of institutional partners and sports associations, with an expanded presence from surf clubs across Morocco.

One of the most exciting highlights was the Royal Moroccan Surf Federation (FRMS) space, which grew this year to host even more meetings, training sessions, and masterclasses, making it a true hub for surf culture and education.

Capturing the energy and spirit of this incredible event was a truly rewarding experience, and I’m so thankful to have been part of such an inspiring showcase of surfing, sports, and local culture.
