I’m extremely proud to have been part of the documentary team as a camera operator for Seasons 3 and 4 of Anmoggar, produced by the Al Aoula Channel, with executive production by Faouzi Vision. This captivating documentary series made its return with a fresh season, directed by the talented young director Ayoub Ait Bihi. Airing every Friday night at midnight, Anmoggar focuses on the rich cultural heritage of Morocco’s annual Moussems, highlighting both the tangible and intangible aspects of these extraordinary events.
As a camera operator, it was a unique privilege to visually capture the essence of these Moussems—each of which is a living testament to Morocco’s vibrant traditions. From the intricate details of the festivals to the powerful emotions of the people involved, I was able to contribute to bringing these stories to life. Working with the team to shoot in diverse locations across Morocco, we aimed to preserve the authenticity of these cultural celebrations, ensuring their significance was communicated with the respect and depth they deserve.
The experience was not only a great professional challenge but also a personal journey, as it allowed me to explore and connect with Morocco’s heritage in ways I hadn’t imagined. Collaborating with Ayoub Ait Bihi and the rest of the production team was incredibly inspiring, and I’m grateful to have played a role in bringing this important series to the screen. I’m excited to see how Anmoggar continues to captivate and educate viewers in the seasons to come
